Silicone oil (like Polydimethylsiloxane PDMS) finely dispersed in water, stabilized by an emulsifier (anionic, cationic, or non-ionic) etc. Silicone emulsions are stable mixture of silicone oil dispersed in water, created with a surfactant, offering properties like lubrication, water-repellency, and a smooth feel. Silicone emulsions are inert, heat stable, non-toxic products which suit many industrial applications. Versatile for industries from textiles (softening, slip) and automotive (polishes, mold release) to personal care (lotions, antiperspirants) and so on.
